Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect almost nothing. The long version is below.

Last updated: April 2026

The Short Version

LessonEye does not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, ad pixels, or behavioral fingerprinting. Your lesson drafts live in your own browser's local storage — never on our servers. The only piece of data we can receive is the email address you optionally give us before exporting a lesson, and we use it only for occasional product updates. You can skip that step and still use every other feature of the site.

What We Collect

LessonEye collects two kinds of information, and only these two:

  1. Email (optional). If you choose to unlock PDF/HTML export, we ask for your email, name, and role. This is transmitted to our email system (or your chosen form provider if configured). You can skip this at any time.
  2. Local drafts. Your lesson-in-progress is auto-saved to your browser's localStorage so you don't lose work. This data never leaves your device.

We do not collect: IP addresses for tracking, device fingerprints, clickstreams, referrer chains, or any profile data beyond what you voluntarily submit.

How We Use It

The email you optionally give us is used for one purpose: occasional product updates — new features, major improvements, new categories. We will never:

UAE PDPL Compliance

LessonEye operates in alignment with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Under this law, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@lessoneye.com. We respond within 30 days as required by UAE law.

Cookies & Local Storage

LessonEye uses localStorage (not cookies) to save your language preference and your in-progress lesson draft. This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it anytime via your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

LessonEye loads one external resource: Google Fonts (for typography). This is a privacy-minimized configuration — we load fonts directly via CSS without any tracking scripts. If you configure a form provider like Formspree for email capture, their privacy policy applies to submitted data.

Children's Data

LessonEye is a professional tool for educators. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us immediately for deletion.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and — if we have your email — notify you. Your continued use of LessonEye after changes indicates acceptance.
